Summary : A fragment of a Roman milestone dedicated to Decius was found in 1924 during excavations. It is now in Aldborough Museum.
More information : [Marginal] The top of a milestone of Decius, now in the grounds of Aldborough Manor, was found in 1924 during excavations near the N. end of Isurium. (1-3) The fragment of milestone is 16 inches in height, 15 inches wide, and is inscribed. It is displayed in Aldborough Museum and was found at SE 4072 6673 (a). See ground photograph AO/63/109/8.
