Summary : Manor house built in the 16th and 17th centuries and considerably altered in the late 18th and mid 19th centuries. The stone-built house is rectangular in plan with two internal courtyards divided by the hall range, which was originally open to the roof. The three storey gatehouse leads into the outer court with the hall range opposite.

Ingleby Manor house is a 16th century and later, two storey stone building much remodelled in the 19th century. It is built round two courtyards and although the north entrance tower is original the upper parts of it have been rebuilt. Grade 2*.

Ingleby Manor was held by the Eure family from circa 1250 until 1608.
