Summary : Series of earthworks situated on the southern bank of a stream leading to the River Petteril. These may be ponds associated with Catterlen Hall.
More information : An examination of a single air photograph (1a) reveals a series of earthworks situated on the southern bank of a stream leading to the River Petteril and centred at NY 4765 3200. The earthworks are located closely to Catterlen Hall, a fourteenth century pele (see NY 43 SE 7), and may represent the remains of ponds associated to the hall. (1)
