Summary : A section of Hadrian's Wall, believed originally to be the probable site of milecastle 63. The location was indicated by geophysical survey in 1980, however, evaluation work in 2000 clearly showed that the milecastle lies under the track in the field immediately to the south. A section of Hadrian's Wall was found at this location, and is in all likelihood what was originally identified during the geophysical survey. |
