Summary : Farmhouse, 15th century, refenestrated in the late 17th century and altered in the mid-18th century. This building is a wing of an earlier manor house which was probably demolished in the mid-18th century.

Hall Farm House and No 9 Main Street. Grade II*. Architecturally
all one building, Linby Hall. Probably mediaeval in origin, altered
C16 and late C17 - early C18. Handsome, unusual, house of ashlar.
The building history is obscure but it may be the remains of a great
hall structure, the hall being raised on an undercroft. (2)

Farmhouse, this building is a wing of an earlier, 15th century, manor
house which was probably demolished in the mid-18th century.
