More information : (SK 6477 0556) Cross [G.T.] (1) The cross is of the 14th century (2) This cross consists of a square fluted shaft in a square socket stone, the whole resting upon a pedestal base of three steps. The head and arms of the cross are missing and the base of the shaft is modern. (3) "The upper part of the Medieval cross shaft in the churchyard was blown off and subsequently more correctly restored....." (4) No change. (5) SCRAPTOFT SK 60 NW CHURCH HILL (East Side) 1/86 Cross at Churchyard of 29.12.6 All Saints GV II* Preaching cross. C15, restored 1964. Stone. A square pedestal of c1/2m, the top chamfered, stands on circular plinth of 3 steps. From the pedestal rises a square shaft with roll mouldings. Moulded top and fragment of former lantern-top as finial. The whole is c2 1/2m high. Stands S of S porch of Church (q.v.) Scheduled ancient monument. (6)
