More information : Three portions of a cross or crosses with carved Saxon work were discovered "many years ago" in the ruins of the old church of North Stoke, and re-erected in the park. The cross is nearly 7ft high and stands on two blocks of stone. Scheduled. (1-2)
The cross is now at SK 9200 2734 in the churchyard of S S Andrew and Mary. See G.P's AO/65/21/7. The site of North Stoke church was not established. (See SK 92 NW/8). (3)
