More information : SP 03021563 Manor Farm (NAT) (1) The Manor House at Withington, a possession of the Bishop of Worcester, was recorded in the 15th century, though now mainly 16/17th century. Dovecote, 17th century, square and gabled with a lantern. (2) A very fine 17th century Manor House. One of the outstanding buildings of its type in the Cotswolds. Grade 2*. (3) The Manor House (named confirmed by owner) an outstanding stone house maintained in fine condition, and retaining most of its original features. Mr R Fender, the owner, dated the principal south facing block to 1453, the rear of the house to 1750, with additions of 1914 on the north. To the NW of the house, at SP 03001566, is a fine square, stone dovecote of probable 17th century date, containing 700 nesting boxes built of limestone blocks. Outstanding. (4)
