More information : (SP 11860647) Bibury Court (NR) (Name SP 11910649) Remains of Monastery (NR)(Benedictine). (1) Bibury Court is a large picturesque gabled mansion dating from Tudor times, though the main portion was built by Sir Thomas Sackville in 1633, as shown by an armorial panel above the doorway (3). Not listed by Knowles and Hadcock. Grade I. (2-4) Bibury Court, now an hotel, is a fine example of a Tudor mansion. The oldest part of the building is at the northern end. It is outstanding. There are no identifiable remains of the alleged monastic buildings. (5)
