More information : Fortified mount 1/3 mile WSW of Drayton Parslow church. The mound is about 120ft in diameter and 4ft high; only half the mound and encircling ditch remain. (Ditch published, but not described, on OS 6" at SP 83252826. Air-photos show mound and ditch, overlying rig and furrow) (1-2)
Site bulldozed May 1971 and mound totally removed, medieval pottery collected from site by Museum staff. The site was photographed. (3)
