St. Clement's Church, Rowston, is Early English with Perpendicular crocketed spire. Saxon stones with knot-work which came to light during restoration in 1910 are built into the chancel walling. In the church is a cross-head of penthouse form which has been found built into a cowshed. Part of the shaft of the churchyard cross remains. (2)
Church in normal use. The churchyard cross shaft was not located and the vicar does not know of one. The small cross-head remains within the church, very badly weathered; its earlier location could not be ascertained. Two Saxon stones were identified in the south chancel wall. See G.P. AO/65/17/1.
