More information : [TF 10501680] St. Firmin's Church [TU] (1) St Firmin's Church, Thurlby, is Saxo-Norman to Perpendicular, though Brown says that the early features the long and short work on the quoins, the plain tower arch under-built with a later one, and the triangular headed opening to the nave in the east wall of the tower, cannot positively be pronounced Saxon.
