Summary : Entrance lodge, wall and gateway to Woburn Abbey, constructed in 1787-8. It comprises a high central carriage arch flanked by footway arches, the lodge is behind a screen wall on the park side.
More information : (SP 96283090) London Entrance Lodge (NAT). (1) Woburn Park London entrance lodge, wall and gateway, Grade 2. Built about 1787-8 (Pevsner says 1790) by Henry Holland, of ashlar, with a high central carriage arch flanked by footway arches. The lodge is behind a screen wall on the park side.
