More information : [TF 41405304] King's Hill Motte and Bailey [G.T.]. (1)
King's Hill is a fine Motte and Bailey, still strong and undamaged. Extensive foundations within the moated area indicate a house of some importance.
Scheduled. (2-4)
Only the motte with its bailey to the south have survived centred TF 41355310, the published earthworks to the east, west and south having all been ploughed out.
Disturbed areas on top of the motte and within the bailey probably indicate the sites of buildings.
