Summary : The site of a low mound which was razed by Norfolk County Council in 1936. Pottery, partly glazed and partly not, probably Medieval (circa 16th century) and fragments of Bellarmine jars were found. Numerous cockle shells suggest an old boiling site.

Pottery, partly glazed and partly not, probably Medieval (c. 16th. century) and fragments of Bellarmine jars were found. Numerous cockle shells suggest an old boiling site. Demolition of mound witnessed by P.L.K. Schwabe. (1) This is marked as a 'pit' not as a mound. (2)
