Summary : A semi-circular feature of unknown date was recorded as a cropmark on aerial photographs, and is located south of the Cursus barrow group (Monument Number 219681). The feature could relate to 20th century agricultural or military activity. The area was surveyed by English Heritage in 2009 as part of the Stonehenge WHS Landscape Project but no earthworks relating to the monument were recorded.
More information : A semi-circular feature of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on air photographs, and is located south of the Cursus barrow group (SU 14 SW 133). (1)

This location falls within the area mapped from aerial photographs by both RCHME's Salisbury Plain Training Area NMP and EH's Stonehenge WHS Mapping Project. No further information about this supposed feature could be obtained from aerial photographic evidence, and its presence was not confirmed. (2)

The area was surveyed by English Heritage in 2009 as part of the Stonehenge WHS Landscape Project but no earthworks relating to the monument were recorded. The feature could relate to 20th century agricultural or military activity. (3-4)
