Summary : A Buried Reserve for the Chain Home radar station at Pevensey (CH07). The Buried Reserve was an underground bunker built as an operations room and equipped with replacement receiver and transmission equipment in event of the main set being damaged by enemy action. Aerial photography from 1959 shows that the reserve has been removed and the site restored to agricultural use.
More information : A Buried Reserve located at Chilley (TQ 637 062) for the Chain Home radar station at Pevensey (CH07).
