More information : Cross at Trebehor, St. Levan - "The cross now stands on top of the boundary hedge of a cottage garden in the tenancy of Mr.Albert Davey. A bead is carried round the edge of both head and shaft on the front but on the back it is omitted.
Dimensions - Height 2'2", width of head 1'6", width of shaft 11 1/2"; thickness 11".." [See AO/59/372/4] (1) The cross is 0.7 m. high and 0.5 m. wide, and its socket stone is 0.6 m. square and 0.3 m deep. It is as described and illustrated by Langdon. It stands at SW 37642432, on the top of a field wall immediately to the east of the stile. Ground photograph AO/60/373/2 from the south. (2) (SW 37652433) Cross (NR) (3) A very worn wheelhead cross. The figure seen by Langdon on the front face is unique, having arms that are curved downward. (4) Nothing is known of its history but it presumably marked an ancient track over the moor to St. Levan. (5) The crosshead is as described. Published 1/2500 survey correct. (6)
