Summary : Medieval stone wayside cross, possibly brought from Penzance, now north-east of Rosemorran House.

A cross stands on the top of a high hedge on the left-hand side
of the road, a little above Rosemorran Farm, about one mile north
west of Gulval.
The front has a rude representation of our Lord and the back has a
cross. similar to one on Lelant No.2 (SW 53 NW 32) See AO/59/373/3 (2)

The Cross at Rosemorran, Madron, is scheduled as an ancient monument. (3)

This cross is as described by Langdon. Ground phoograph: see
AO/60/295/2 - from the SW. A 25" survey has been made. (4)

Baird can find no record of the past history of this cross and
considers that it marked the path to the church, but Russell
suggests that it may have been brought from Penzance. (5-6)
