Wheal Lushington, named on OS 1" 1813, was working in 1808,
being the largest producer of tin in the area. Some exploration
took place here in 1927.

An engine house is now converted into a dwelling house. Smelting
took place near Wheal Lushington between 1811 and 1814. (3-5)
