Summary : The site of a Medieval manor house is now occupied by a house of 18th century date which is in use as a conveaslescent home.
More information : (SW 71685118) Convalescent Home on site of (NAT) Manor House (NR). (1) "Trevaunance House was taken down a few years after the death of Mr Tonkin (1742), and a neat cottage occupies the site". The barton had belonged to the Tonkin family for upwards of five hundred years. (2) There are no remains of the original house to be seen, the present buildings are 18th. c. and later. (3)
