More information : (SW 849696) Redcliffe Castle (NAT) Cliffe Castle (NR). (1) Redcliffe Castle. A fine cliff castle. One of the two ditches is still 14 feet deep; much of the original interior has disappeared in cliff falls, and erosion is still taking place. (2) A bivallate Cliff Castle with a central simple entrance. The ditches, which are approximately 100.0 metres long, are in a very good condition, with an average depth of 2.0 metres; a rock-cut section at the southern end is 4.7 metres deep. Very little of the interior of the camp remains due to cliff erosion. Re-surveyed at 1:2500. (3) Defences described. (4)

Bedruthan in St Eval, overhanging Bedruthan Steps. Described as being "isolated by three lines of entrenchment, each having distinct ditches cut in the rocky soil". (6)
