More information : (SD 6031 1503) Hall o' th' Hill (NR) (1) Hall o' the Hill. A 3 storey stone building said to have been built in 1724, though general appearance of the building is rather of late 17th century. It appears to have been and addition to an older building which formerly stood on its E side. (History of ownership of manor given since 1540 to present). (2) A drainhead on the W front of this house bears the date 1723. The building is in excellent condition, but is not outstanding. The hall is now the headquarters of Chorley Golf club. (3) Hall o' th' Hill. Said to be 1724. Grade 2*. (4)
