Summary : Two bowl barrows situated on East kimber Common on a prominent upland ridge. The western barrow is circular, has a diameter of 25.4 metres and is 0.6 metres high. The second barrow, which lies 63.2 metres north east of the first is 21.6 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high and is most pronounced on its eastern side. The surrounding quarry ditches of both barrows survive as buried features. Scheduled.
More information : Probable Barrow. A mound is shewn on East Kimber Common on the OS 2" drawing at approx SX 492973. (1)

SX 49269730 A ploughed down bowl barrow now under pasture,
measuring some 19.0m in diameter and 0.4m in height. There is
no trace of a ditch.
