Summary : A cist consisting of two side-stones, measuring 1.6 m x 0.3 m and 1.4 m by 0.3 m respectively, one end-stone, and a displaced (?) cover-stone measuring 1.0 m by 0.8 m. The stones enclose a rectangular hole 1.5 m by 0.5 m and 0.2 m deep, oriented west-north-west with a build up of material on the east side. Though heavily disturbed the area immediately surrounding the cist displays evidence of a cairn approximately 5.0m in diameter remaining to a maximum height of 0.5m.

Remains of a cist consisting of two side stones. (Plan). There
is no trace of a barrow. Excavations in 1899/1900 revealed two
fragments of bright red unornamented pottery. (2)

SX 59036671. A cist consisting of two side-stones, measuring
1.6 m x 0.3 m and 1.4 m by 0.3 m respectively, one end-stone,
and a displaced (?) cover-stone measuring 1.0 m by 0.8 m. The
stones enclose a rectangular hole 1.5 m by 0.5 m and 0.2 m
deep, oriented west-north-west with a build up of material on
the east side.

There is no trace of a cairn.

Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD. (3)

The cist is as described by Authority 3 though it is possible to discern the traces of a cairn approximately 5.0m in diameter and 0.5m high.
