One hut is adjoined by a short length of contemporary walling.Scheduled.
More information : (SX 59016518) Hut Circles (NR). (1)
Not visible on air photographs. (2)

Along the banks of Hentor Brook from 356.0m to 370.0m OD are
eight Type 1 huts and two Type 2 huts. The internal diameters of
3.3m and walling of 1.3m width and 0.7m height. All have southern
entrances and levelled interiors and the majority are in poor
condition. The Type 2 huts are at SX 58946517 and SX 59076518;
the latter has a windbreak and the hut at SX 59006524 has two
orthostats marking its entrance. Fragments of walling are visible
in places in the boggy area around the huts suggesting a possible
enclosure or the remains of fields.

(Type sites 1: SX 56 SE 19, 2: SX 56 NE 71).

Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD. (3)

SX 58996525. Three stone hut circles, forming part of a partially enclosed hut circle settlement, 340 metres east of Hen Tor. The hut circles consist of banks of earth and stone defining a circular interior. Two of the huts are joined together, while the third lies 8 metres to the east-south-east. Scheduled. (5)

SX 58996511; SX 58946517. A number of stone hut circles located on the south side of Hentor Brook. One stands isolated, while three more lie clustered together, 2 of them joined to each other. Three lengths of rubble bank lead away from this group and may represent the remains of an enclosure, now largely buried under the peat. The settlement extends to the north of the brook (SX 56 NE 82). Scheduled. (6)

Six hut circles depicted and described by Robertson. (7)

Four hut circles and a cairn depicted and described by Butler. (8)

One hut is adjoined by a short length of contemporary walling.
SX 58946517. A crude circle of stones 3.7m N to S by 3.3m in internal diameter with a possible entrance in the NE.
SX 58996517. Measuring 3.6m N to S by 4.3m this hut has walls 1.3m wide and 0.6m high.
SX 58976519. A well-preserved hut 3.6m in diameter with walls 1.3m wide and 0.4m high.
SX 58996524. A small hut 2.5m in diameter with walls 1.2m wide and 0.3m high.
SX 58986525. A circle of stones 2.6m in diameter. Some internal facing on the S wall.
SX 58986526. A crude circle of stones open to the W. 4.2m N to S by 3.2m internally.

A tight cluster of three additional huts to the S, previously included in this record, can now be demonstrated to form part of the adjacent record SX 56 NE 82.
