More information : Approximately SX 56756658 A cairn incorporated in a long reave. Diameter 3.5m, height 0.4m. Visited February 1977. (A reave runs just north of Grinsells grid reference, see SX 56 NE 172, therefore the cairn lies in the area SX 567666. Cairn SX 56 NE 162 lies nearest on the reave). (1) The reave is cut about in the vicinity of SX 56756667 and overspread in many places but no cairn could be found incorporated within it. (The cairn at SX 56906676 (SX 56 NE 162) is adjacent to the reave, not incorporated in it). (2)
The reave in the area of the given NGR has been severly damaged by stone removal in more recent centuries. Several small cairns and amorphous piles of recovered stones lie on or adjacent to the remains of the reave. (3)
