A small barrow, 9 feet in diameter, lies 20 feet and 30o west of
south from the cist (SX 66 NW 3) on Great Gnat's Head. This barrow
was carefully examined, and proved to cover a circular, carefully

however, rested on the "calm" or subsoil everywhere, and covered
neither a pit in the "calm" nor a cist. (2)
