Summary : A cairn was alleged on Green Hill but field evidence revealed a small mound measuring 7.8m by 7.5m and 0.4m high and concluded that it is the remains of peat workings.
More information : SX 63656774. A mound 8.0m. in diameter and 0.3m. high, seen by Grinsell 30 June 1976, is listed as a doubtful barrow site. (1)

A small peaty mound some 30m S of the summit cairn on Green Hill at SX 63656775. The sub-circular mound measures 7.8m N to S by 7.5m and is 0.4m high. It lies in an area much disturbed by peat cutting and is most likely to be the remains of peat cutting activity. (2)
