Description and plan. (4)

The two cairns conform to Ridyard's measurements with 'A'
having a disturbed centre and a probable kerb.

Surveyed at 1:10 000 on MSD and at 1:2500 for AO Records. (see
illustration and ground photographs) (5)

A) SX 60917416. A turf-covered cairn, slightly spread on the north side, measures 5.0m by 4.8m and 0.5m in height. An almost centrally placed upright slab, 0.6m long and 0.13m wide and a large slab at the foot of the mound could both be part of a disturbed cist. There is no evidence of a kerb.

B) SX 60927415. A turf-covered cairn is 4.5m in overall diameter and a maximum 0.5m in height. A partially buried cist is approximately 0.8m by 0.5m and the capstone 1.2m by 0.75m. There is no evidence of a kerb. (6)
