More information : "There is a close-set retaining circle of a cairn on the northern slope of Top Tor" (a) No other siting evidence given. (1) Handsford Worth was probably referring to the remains of a cairn circle at 'A' SX 7357 7646 where close set stones mark the northern half with two disturbed outliers to the south-east. the stones average 0.2 m. high. There are also another retaining circle and a robbed cairn. B. SX 7365 7646 The southern half of a retaining circle consisting of five stones averaging 0.4 m. high. C. SX 7354 7655 A robbed cairn 0.4 m. high, and grass covered, with seven small retaining stones mostly on the east. A 25" survey of these features has been made. (2) Detail surveyed on L.S. Document.
