More information : (SX 96778758-OS 1:2500 1968) 1092 THE STRAND (East Side) TOPSHAM No 34 (Formerly listed in the rural district of St Thomas) SX 9688 9/1180 11.11.52 II* GV 2. Late C17. Roughcast brick. Two storeys and attics. Another "Dutch" house with long axis at right angles to road. This front is 7 window and has early C19 verandah. End to road has restored Dutch gable, 2 sash windows, and sliding shutters, glazing bars. Slate roof with dormers. Two original staircases. Starred for the unaltered plan of the interior. All the listed buildings of the Strand form a group. Wall of No 34 SX 9688 9/1180A II GV 2. Roughcast wall. Gatepiers, gateway blocked. Rebuilt. (1)
