A small motte, 25 ft. high, with ditch 7 ft. deep and still retaining an earth breastwork around the top, known as Castle Haugh. (2-3)
Apart from partial erosion of the west side, and the denudation of the breastwork, the motte is well preserved, and correctly described. Published survey (25") revised. (4)
Listed as a type A ringwork. (5)
Condtion unchanged, a well-preserved ringwork as described. (6)
