More information : [SP 2833 7171] Castle Mill [GT] (Site of) (1) One of the mills mentioned in 1361 as belonging to the manor of Kenilworth Castle lay 1/2 mile south of the other [SP 27 SE 2.35] on a tributary of the Finham Brook. [Probaby refers to 1.] (2-3) The field within which the siting symbol falls is described as Mill Mead [there is, however, no indication of a mill.] (4)
The course of the brook was perambulated but no trace of a mill was found. (5)
