More information : 0548 Street House, Loftus. The site of a destroyed mound which had stood on a hedgeline and was removed when a number of fields were amalgamated. From the site, the Street House neolithic cairn is prominently placed on the skyline. The present farmer remembers the excavation of the mounds about 50 years ago, and says that 'incense vessels' were found then.
