More information : [SE 1493 6007] Padside Hall [GT] (1) Padside Hall, of late medieval appearance, was altered in 1893 when a square tower was demolished. (2) The Hall is now derelict and in poor condition. It is mainly of late 16thc/17thc. construction, and is of no architectural merit. See G.P. AO 63/117/7 for south eastern aspect. (3) Padside Hall, 15th century, formerly had a square Peel type tower now converted into a barn. The hall, unoccupied for many years, is now having some repairs made to it. Grade 2. (4) There is a 17th century two storey stone cottage with an end chimney nearby. (5-6)
