Summary : Fortified house, built in the 15th and 16th centuries and possibly standing on the site of an earlier house. The original house was larger than the present farmhouse, which is set on two sides of a walled courtyard. The two storey house is built of stone rubble, with stone roofs. The 15th century courtyard walls are also rubble-built and stand roughly 4 metres high. A wall walk runs round the inner side, reached via steps in the north west corner.

A 15/16c fortified house, recently restored, on the site of an earlier building, part of which remains at the NE corner. (1-2)

Walburn Hall: two storeyed 'L' shaped plan fortified house, 12th century and later but substantially 15th/16th century. Grade 1.

Walburn Hall Chapel:"Rubble ashlar dressed walls of Medieval chapel standing to above window height. C15 pointed arched windows with stone mullions, dripmoulds." Grade 2*. (4)
