More information : In 1937 after dredging the river Nene the following items were found on the Castor bank:- (1) A small bronze figure of Minerva, a bronze pin, Ro coin, a small Nene Valley vase and quantities of other Roman pottery. In Peterborough Museum. The Minerva figure is on loan to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and the other finds are kept in reserve at Peterborough. No precise find spots are recorded: but the coin is noted as a follis of Diocletian. (2)
