A medieval motte and possible moat are visible as earthworks on air photographs centred at SE 6894 1333.
The motte measures approximately 49m in diameter and appears to be surrounded by a broad, shallow ditch. It is unclear whether this feature does represent a moat.
To the north is a curvilinear hollow which may also be an associated earthwork.
