Summary : A medieval moat visible as earthworks on air photographs. Only three sides of the moat survive and to the north another ditch may be part of a field enclosure. The moated enclosure may possibly be the site of a manor house held by William de Thorntoft in 1316. |

The earthworks of the moat described above are visible on air photographs and were transcribed at a scale of 1:10,000. A ditch to the north of the moat may be part of a field enclosure. (6) |
