More information : The site of a Second World War Type 24 pillbox is visible on aerial photographs and has been mapped as part of the SE Warwickshire and Cotswolds HLS NMP survey. The pillbox is located adjacent to the watch office of RAF Wellsbourne Mountford (Monument Number 1431276) at SP 26751 54653. The pillbox was removed prior to aerial photographs taken in 1971. (1-2)
