Summary : A storehouse for oils and liquids at RAF Bicester sited close to one of the Type "A" hangars on the edge of the flying field. It is accessed by a loading platform to the front. An English Heritage report produced in May 2003 recommended that the storehouse be considered for potential future Listed Building status.
More information : An English Heritage report produced in May 2003 recommended that the "Lubricant Store, Building 96" should be considered for possible future Listed building status, potentially at Grade II. The building was built in 1926, and was built for the storage of oiuls and liquids. It is sited close to one of the "A" type hangers ("Building 79"). (1) Based on the locational information given in source 1, the lubricant storehouse is one of a suite of buildings located at SP 592 245. (2) Listed at grade II. (3)
