More information : A small complex of ditches visible as cropmarks on air photographs. To the south they are truncated by the road, but appear to define 3 sides of a rectangle, with the northern side continuing a short distance to the east, and the eastern side continuing in an arc to the north. The features may well relate to nearby Iron Age and Roman settlement to the east and south (SU 49 NW 3, 15 and 16). (1)
