Summary : Site of Old Hall, turf covered remains.

The turf covered foundations of the hall are still discernible, but there is no local information concerning it. Published survey (25") revised. (2)

The earthworks at TA 2266 6987 were mapped from air photographs taken in 1999. These include the probable remains of the hall and two? adjacent enclosures that may have been yards or gardens. (4)

A medieval/post medieval house platform, with associated areas of terraced ground and earthwork banks, is visible as earthworks on air photographs centred at TA 2268 6986. (5)

OS1854 6" shows `Site of Old Hall¿, and earthworks to east of Beacon Farm may mark site of former houses. The earthworks at TA 2266 6987 were mapped from Aerial Photographs taken in 1999. These include the probable remains of the hall and two possible adjacent enclosures that may have been yards or gardens.
