Summary : Railway station on the Barnet Branch Railway, opened as Torrington Park, Woodside by the Great Northern Railway on 1st April 1872. It was renamed Woodside Park on 1st May 1882. Under the New Works Programme of 1935-40, all rail traffic was diverted to the Underground when the Northern Line was extended from East Finchley over LNER tracks to Finchley Central, West Finchley, Woodside Park, Totteridge and Whetstone and to High Barnet.
