Summary : The remains of a modern clearance heap, previously thought to be a burial cairn.
More information : SS 93534777. Cairn, 55 paces in circumference. Farm workers are traditionally told not to interfere as "it is a burial ground". (1)

At SS 93510 47783 is a stony mound, which is clearly a modern stone clearance heap. It seems probable that this is the `burial ground' refered to above. (2)
