Summary : 7, Broad Street (alternatively The Gables). C15 house
More information : (SO 4026 5167) 7, Broad Street [NAT] (1) 2 storey house, timber framed with tiled roofs. It was built probably late in the C14, with a central block and cross-wings at the N and S ends: the lower storey has been refronted in modern stonework and the middle block has been otherwise altered. (2) The Gables (No 7 Broad Street). House C15, partly rebuilt C17, with some early C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered infill underbuilt in coursed rubble under a tile roof.
