Summary : Country house, designed circa 1725 by Francis Smith for Thomas Fitzherbert, the house was altered by Trubshaw circa 1810 and was partly demolished and interior altered circa 1975. The main block is built of ashlar and is of three storeys, the centre three bays project slightly with giant Tuscan pilasters and a doorway in a rusticated surround with Ionic columns and bolection frieze.
