Summary : A tower windmill, built c1830. A battered circular brick tower, formerly tarred; four stages. The interior has the main post, tentering gear and a single pair of stones.
More information : [SK 69209043] Windmill (Dis.) [NAT] (1) Windmill. Built about 1820, this mill is four storeys high and has a domed wooden cap with a ball finial. The sails and machinery have gone but a pair of grey stones remain. Closed in 1920. (2) A tower windmill, built c1830. A battered circular brick tower, formerly tarred; four stages. The interior has the main post, tentering gear and a single pair of stones. Grade II. (3)
