More information : [SE 34563777] ROUNDHAY GRANGE [G.T.] (Formerly a Grange of Kirkstall Abbey) (1) ROUNDHAY GRANGE - "An ancient house, formerly the manor house of ROUNDHAY, given to the monks of KIRKSTALL [SE 23 NE 2] in 1200. It is now a farm house. (2) A completely modernised farmhouse situated at SE 34583779, showing little evidence of antiquity. See GP AO63/187/7 for southern aspect. (3) The building was possibly a private residence in the 1900s. (4)
